Do you know this a song ?
One of the most well-know song of the Quan Ho singing is “Beo Dat May Troi”. According to some research by qualified historians, it is thought to be written in the 70s in Bac Ninh Province, so it has been popular for nearly 50 years. The song itself is the story of a woman sitting alone at midnight waiting for her beloved man who was far away from her. She waited for him even when days has bled into night falls. Her love was so sincere, and she waited for him day by day with the hope to see him again. The song really touched hearts of the listener by its rustic lyrics and its emotional rhythm. I very love it, and in my opinion it is one of the greatest Vietnamese songs ever.
