The suggested writing
It was a beautiful day, my friends and I decided to go on a picnic. We took a bus to the countryside and then walked about 20 minutes to the picnic site next to the river.
We put down the blankets and laid out the food. After the meal, we played the game “What song is it?” and blind man’s buff.
Late in the afternoon we went fishing. We enjoyed our picnic. When we looked at the time, it was nearly 6.30 p.m.
We hurriedly gathered our things and ran to the bus stop. We was lucky to catchthe last bus and we arrived home very late in the evening.

S1:Where and when did you go for a picnic ?
S2: I went to Sam Son beach last summer.
S1:Who did you go with ?
S2:I went with my parents
S1:How did you get there ?
S2: I got there by bus
S1: What did you bring for a picnic ?
S2: I brought food, drinks and many other things
S1:What did you do on the picnic site?
S2: I had a picnic on the bank and went swimming...
S1: When did you arrive home?
S2: I arrived home after a week.
S1: Did you enjoy that picnic?
S2: Yes, I did .I enjoyed it a lot.
Drill:
We must learn and remember the new words: picnic site, blanket, lay out, gather
We must remember the past simple tense to write the writing in this lesson.
Home work
Using the open dialogue in this lesson to write a paragraph about their own picnic that you had gone.
Do exercises 6,8,10 on workbook on page 22,24,25.
Prepare part: language focus 1,4 on page 28,31 on text book for the next period.
