- We can omit it
- We cannot omit it
- It is necessary and modifies the noun.

“THAT” must not used:
After a commas and a preposition
Ex: He works in FPT company, which makes computers.

b. “THAT” must be used:
After people/animals
The man and his dog that were crossing the street
had an accident.
After superlative
You are the most intelligent person that I’ve ever met.
After ordinal numbers
After all, every, no, only, any ….
