VSTEP SPEAKING Part II

In Vstep (CB2) speaking part 2, there are three
subparts:
1/ Paraphrasing (Diễn giải lại 3 lựa chọn).
2/ Discuss the disadvantages of the other choices
and then discuss the advantages of the item you
choose. (Thảo luận những bất lợi của 2 mục đầu
và sự thuận lợi của ý mình chọn).
3/ Confirm your choice. (Khẳng định ý mình chọn)

FORMAT
Well, before I have to choose among three
options: …………………., let's talk about all of them.
Firstly, …...
Secondly, …...
Finally, …...
For all reasons I put above, I'll choose …... as the
best choice for me.

Situation 9: You're going to hold a party for your
family. There are some suggested ways: having a
barbecue in the garden, ordering some fast food,
eating out at sushi restaurant.
Answer:
Well, before I have to choose among three
options: having a barbecue in the garden,
ordering some fast food, eating out at sushi
restaurant, let's talk about all of them.
Firstly, I think having a barbecue in the
garden is the best choice for the following
reasons. The first reason is my family can enjoy

different types of meat and seafood for BBQ

party. The price I think also is quite reasonable.
The second reason is that we can enjoy the

fresh air in the garden and have a great
time sharing many things among family
members.

Secondly, ordering some fast food is suitable
for my family. Simply because, my parents really
hate eating that kind of food. It's too much fat.

Finally, although eating out at sushi restaurant is
a good idea, I don't choose it. Simply because
my sister can't eat the raw seafood and I think
it also costs a lot of money.
For all reasons I put above, I'll choose to have a
barbecue in the garden as the best choice.
