Today our group will
talk about TET or
''Lunar New Year'' in
Viet Nam !

Tet is the most important holiday in Vietnam. Tet
usually takes place in late January or early
February.

Tet is a special time for family
reunions when people return
home to celebrate together.

Before Tet, families clean and decorate their homes to
remove bad luck and welcome good fortune. They often
display peach blossoms ,apricot blossoms , and kumquat
trees to symbolize prosperity and happiness.They also
make some traditional food.

Traditional Tet food is very special.Chung
cake is traditional dish that symbolize the
Earth and gratitude to ancestors.

New Year's Eve is
the transition from
the old year to the
new year. Families
gather, and
celebrate at
midnight with
fireworks, bringing

During Tet, People visit each
other and wish for health, luck,
and success .children are happy
to receive lucky money..

After Tet, people return to school
and work with new goals. The spirit
and good wishes of Tet continue to
motivate them in the new year.

Tet is a time for reunion, preserving traditions. For
me, it is the most meaningful time of the year.
