Review of tenses
Pronunciation: The pronunciation of –ed endings
How to pronounce “-ed”
-ed ending sound is pronounced /t/ when the verbs end with the
sounds: /k/, /f/, /p/, /s/, /∫/, /ʧ/
Eg: jump-jumped , watch-watched, fax-faxed
2. -ed ending sound is pronounced / id / when the verbs end with the
sounds: /t/ or /d/
Eg: conduct - conducted, need - needed
3. -ed ending sound is pronounced /d / when the verbs end with the
rest of sounds.
Eg: live-lived , name-named, change-changed

With normal verbs:
S + V2/ed + O
With “to be”:
S + was/were + O
Recognition words:
yesterday, last week, last month, ago.
Present perfect:
S + has/have + V3/ed + O
Since + mốc thời gian (thời gian bắt đầu)

For + khoảng thời gian (không xác định chính xác thời điểm)
