II. Conditional sentence
Form review

Conditional sentence type 1: Real condition at present (điều kiện có thực ở hiện tại)

Câu điều kiện gồm có hai phần:
Một phần nêu lên điều kiện được gọi là mệnh đề chỉ điều kiện (if clause)
Một phần còn lại nêu lên kết quả gọi là mệnh đề chỉ kết quả (main clause).

Ex : I’ll be there if you need a friend.
a. Form:
If clause: Simple present tense. ( V(s/es)
Main clause: Simple future tense ( will/can + bare- infinitive)
Ex: If I have time, I will come with you.
We will go swimming if the weather is fine tomorrow.
Note : The if-clause usually comes before the main clause, but it can come after it
We do not use will in the if part of the sentence.
b. Use: refer to a possible condition and a possible result at present or in the future.
